Cockpit on your phone
Cockpit now has a mobile layout. Open it on your phone to see your sessions, open any chat, and receive a notification when a run finishes.
Agents often keep running after you've left your desk. Until now, checking on them meant coming back to a computer. This release adds a mobile layout and notifications, so you can check on your sessions from your phone.
A mobile layout
When you open Cockpit on a phone, it shows a single-column layout instead of the desktop's three panels. On a tablet, you can switch to the desktop layout if you prefer it.
Your sessions
The first screen lists your recent sessions and updates as their status changes. A Frequent tab keeps the sessions you use often in one place. Tap a session to open its chat, with full history and live streaming, and send messages from a touch input.
| On mobile | What it does |
|---|---|
| Session list | Shows recent sessions and their current status |
| Chat | Full history, live streaming, touch input |
| Diffs & previews | Open fullscreen, with a collapsible file tree |
Notifications
Turn on notifications and Cockpit sends one to your phone when a run finishes, including when the app is closed. It doesn't require any extra accounts or setup.
Try it
Update Cockpit and open it on your phone. Turn on notifications and start a run.
